At Convoy of Hope we provide help and hope to people in need in the United States and around the world by providing food, clean water and supplies. To do that, we’ve held community outreaches, rendered aid to disaster victims, and implemented sustainability and nutrition programs in more than 100 countries.

Each year in the United States alone we hold up to 50 community events with the help of thousands of volunteers who serve tens of thousands of guests. At each event free groceries, job and health fairs, and activities for children are provided. In doing so, volunteers are given an opportunity to connect with members of their community, and guests are shown love and respect regardless of age, race, physical appearance, or spiritual condition.

Convoy of Hope is considered a “first responder” organization in disaster relief. With a fleet of tractor-trailers, a 300,000-square-foot warehouse, and a high-tech Mobile Command Center we have become an active and efficient disaster relief organization by providing resources and help to victims of disasters. However, we do not go at it alone. We rely heavily on the faith-based community and national and state disaster relief agencies and organizations. We have also developed a disaster preparedness program to educate communities so that they can prepare for and respond to disasters.

With millions of children going hungry and lacking access to clean drinking water we focus heavily on providing the basic necessities of life to those in need. Our global nutrition programs feed 18,000 children a day. And we provide clean drinking water for thousands of people each year by drilling wells and installing water filtration units in some of the most impoverished areas in the world.

Our seeds initiative also helps improve people’s lives by providing garden seeds and educational literature on nutrition, garden preparation, and seed planting.

All of these programs transform lives, offering security, independence, and hope to those in need.

During the past 15 years we have served more than 28 million people and distributed more than 159 million pounds of food.
